Lady Wildcats’ McKeague perfect in no-hitting Mifflinburg

MIFFLINBURG, PA – Sophomore Addie McKeague chalked up a no-hitter in Central Mountain’s 12-0, five inning road win at Mifflinburg on Thursday.

McKeague was perfect in the circle; she threw 54 pitches, she struck out 11 of the 15 batters she faced and she did not allow any walks.

The bats were just as hot as Central Mountain collected 17 hits, including a 3-run homer by Sophie Mitchell.  Allison Lininger and Harley Kunes had 3 hits each while Caitlyn Watson, Madisyn Wian, Mitchell and Gracie Saar added 2 each.  Maddie Hardy and McKeague had one hit each.

The victory put CM at 13-1 in Heartland Conference play and 14-2 overall. Next up is a Monday trip to Bellefonte. Mifflinburg dropped to 4-6; 5-9 with the loss.
