COVID case update

HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Monday reported 692 new cases of COVID-19, the lowest one-day number in the last eight days.

The state reported 479 residents hospitalized, up 22 from Sunday. Those in intensive care units numbered 54, up three from the previous day.

Clinton County reported two new cases for the third day in a row, the total at 9,051. Centre County increased by five for a total of 35,360 and Lycoming County reported one new case for a total of 28,485.

The state reported no new deaths as the Clinton County figure remained at 124; the county number unchanged for well over a month.
