Leadership Clinton County learns about business and economic development

Robert Strouse, Site Director with Croda Inc., spoke to the participants of Leadership Clinton County on the developments happening at the new site at the William Garbrick Lamar Township Business Park.

LAMAR TOWNSHIP, PA – Participants of Leadership Clinton County recently had the opportunity to learn about the process of economic development by meeting with those who play a huge part in that process. Representatives included Mike Flanagan with the Clinton County Economic Partnership, Betsy Lockwood with SEDA-Council of Governments, Carol Obando-Derstine with PPL Electric Utilities, Dorie Gilmore with PA CareerLink, Tom Keiffer with Penn State Small Business Development Center and Kira Rosamilia with Downtown Lock Haven, Inc. who all gave an in-depth description of their involvement with economic development in Clinton County.

Participants also gained a better understanding of the importance of the real estate market from Bob Boob and Sarah Grimes with Century 211st Choice Realty. The session ended with a discussion and tour from host Croda Inc. Site Director Robert Strouse spoke to the class on the many changes happening at Croda which included updates on the new site at the William Garbrick Lamar Township Business Park.
