COVID case update

HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Saturday reported 1,336 new cases of COVID-19, a drop of more than 300 cases from Friday.

The state reported 440 residents hospitalized, down one from Friday. Those in intensive care units numbered 53, down four from the previous day.

Clinton County reported two new cases, the total at 9,047. Centre County increased by 30 for a total of 35,344 and Lycoming County reported five new cases for a total of 28,484.

The state reported 14 new deaths as the Clinton County figure remained at 124; the county number unchanged for well over a month.
