State COVID case update

HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Monday reported 305 new cases of COVID-19, marking the fifth day in a row that number has decreased.

The state reported 417 residents hospitalized, down three from Sunday. Those in intensive care units numbered 70, an increase of seven from the previous day.

Clinton County reported no new cases, the total remaining at 9,029. Clinton has recorded only three new cases over the last eight days. Centre County increased by eight for a total of 36,105 and Lycoming County reported no new cases for a total of 28,380.

The state reported three new deaths as the Clinton County figure remained at 124; the county number unchanged for over a month.
