Tuesday Wildcat PIAA basketball will have full record-online coverage, audio/video

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP, PA- The Record/therecord-online.com publisher Michael Frank announced Monday that thanks to the support of local sponsors TheRecord.Live will be audio/video streaming Tuesday’s Class 5A state playoff game. Central Mountain (13-11) is set to host Hampton Talbots (13-11) at 6 p.m.  The Record’s live stream broadcast will begin at 5:40 p.m. with a pre-game show with John Lipez and Steve Turchetta.

The broadcast on TheRecord.Live is presented by additional community support from First Quality, Zamagias Properties and Murray Motors Lock Haven. Publisher Frank said “We are extremely thankful for these sponsors to step up and help us cover the broadcast rights fees so we can bring the action live audio video.” He continued, “We are thankful for all our sponsors and the community’s continued support as we strive to provide exceptional coverage of local sports, news and more all over Clinton County and beyond. Central Mountain is coming off last week’s 53-52 win over Bellefonte for the District 4-6 title while Hampton, located in Allison Park, has not played since Feb. 24, a 52-44 loss to eventual WPIAL champion Laurel Highlands (25-0). The Talbots finished fifth in Class 5A in District 7 (WPIAL).

Tuesday’s winner will advance to the PIAA round two on Friday, March 11 against the winner of a Tuesday game between the WPIAL runner-up New Castle (23-2) and the eighth place team from District 3, Northeastern (16-12).
