LHU Men’s Basketball falls at Millersville

MILLERSVILLE, PA – Lock Haven University (11-15, 8-14 PSAC) couldn’t overcome a fast-paced effort from Millersville University (23-5, 17-5 PSAC) as the Bald Eagles fell by an 85-50 score on Saturday afternoon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) men’s basketball action.

Lock Haven scored the opening points of the game, but Millersville responded with eight unanswered points to pull away to an early lead. Millersville controlled the remainder of the opening half and took a 46-23 lead into the locker room.

Out of the halftime break, the Marauders opened up a 30-point lead midway through the second half and pulled away from the Bald Eagles down the stretch to end LHU’s regular season with an 85-50 loss.

Jesse McPherson (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Carroll) led the Lock Haven offense with 16 points while Eli Washington (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) rounded out a pair of players in double figures with 13.

James Price (Joppa, Md./Archbishop Curley) led the Bald Eagles on the glass with eight rebounds.
