Morgan-Ransom Bound for Chocolate Town

FARWELL – The PIAA has released brackets for the AA Girls’ Tennis Doubles Championships to begin this Friday, October 31, 2014 at the Hershey Racquet Club. First round matches will begin at 1:30 p.m. with the quarterfinal round scheduled for 5 p.m. Friday. On Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, the semi-final round is slated for 11 a.m with the championship finals to follow at 3 p.m.

Maria Morgan and Abby Ransom, District 4 champions, will face the senior duo of Taylor Hepler andAnna Brinkley, District 9 champs of Brockway in the first round. If Ransom and Morgan advance to the quarters, they will face the winners of Zora Charles and Mona Zhang, District 12 champions of Masterman vs Anne Taylor and Mattie Taylor, District 7 runners-up, of Beaver.
