All in the family…
RENOVO, PA – December 22 was a special day for the Kelley family of Chapman Township. Recently elected Chapman Township Supervisor Linda J. Kelley was sworn in for her first term as a township supervisor. The ceremony was special as conducting the swearing-in was her brother, longtime Renovo area Magisterial District Judge Frank P. Mills Sr. Present for the ceremony was their mother, Joan Mills.
New supervisor Kelley said she looks forward to serving her community during her six year term in office. She was elected unopposed in the November election.
She previously served as Auditor for Chapman Township and is retired after a long career with the Keystone Central School District. A life-long Chapman Township resident, she resides in Farwell with her husband, Robert Kelley.
She said she is “extremely thankful for the opportunity to serve” and thanked all of the friends and neighbors who helped elect her.
A family member said her entire family is proud of her and wishes her luck.
