State COVID update

HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Wednesday reported 17,520 new COVID-19 cases, but that number is not a true one-day total as it includes new data from last weekend not previously recorded.

Clinton County reported 33 new cases on Wednesday for a total of 6,693. In Centre County 174 new cases were recorded on Wednesday for a total of 25,658. Lycoming County added 86 new cases for a total of 21,554.

The death count in Clinton County remained at 102 on Wednesday while 304 deaths were reported statewide but the state figure includes new deaths not previously added in recent days.
