State, county COVID case numbers drop

HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Sunday reported 3,672 new COVID-19 cases, a drop of 991 from Saturday..

Statewide hospitalizations totaled 2,475, the lowest statewide number since Sept. 21. Those in intensive care totaled 570, unchanged from Saturday.

In Clinton County 36 new cases were reported on Sunday, a drop of 10 from Saturday, bringing the total to 5,229. Centre County saw an increase of 37 new cases, to a total of 20,944, while Lycoming County increased by 49 to 17,016.

The state Sunday reported no new deaths. The death count in Clinton County remained at 81.
