PHEAA Announces No-Essay Scholarship for PA Students

HARRISBURG–The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) encourages 2025-26 college students, graduate students, and their parents to enter to win a $2,500 no essay scholarship sweepstakes through the PA Forward Student Loan Program.

“Pursuing higher education is costly,” said Senator Wayne Fontana, Chairman of the PHEAA Board of Directors. “At PHEAA, we’ve established numerous programs and services to aid in making this an affordable venture for students. We’re incredibly proud of the PA Forward Student Loan Program, which enables students to cover the gap between financial aid and the cost of tuition with an affordable private loan. We’re now able to offer a scholarship sweepstakes which will allow the lucky winners to reduce the price tag on education at no additional cost to themselves.”

Anyone who opts in to receive communications, which will include tips on planning for and paying for college, between June 5 and December 15, 2025, will be entered into the scholarship sweepstakes. A total of 12 winners will be selected in August and in December this year, prior to each semester.

“We’re pleased to offer this scholarship sweepstakes to Pennsylvania’s college students, grad students, and their parents,” said James Steeley, PHEAA President & CEO. “Entering couldn’t be easier. There’s no essay required. In just a few minutes, with just a few keystrokes, you can enter to win a $2,500 scholarship and receive information to help you plan for and pay for higher education.”

The PA Forward Scholarship Sweepstakes is open to Pennsylvania residents only. To enter, visit pheaa.org/ss.
