Clinton COVID case numbers stay up
HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Saturday reported 4,663 new COVID-19 cases.
Statewide hospitalizations totaled 2,523, down from Friday. Those in intensive care totaled 570, down two from Friday.
In Clinton County 46 new cases were reported on Saturday, bringing the total to 5,193. The Saturday figure of 46, following 60 cases on Friday, represents the highest two-day total since spring. Centre County saw an increase of 33 new cases, to a total of 20,907, while Lycoming County increased by 66 to 16,967.
The state Saturday reported 43 new deaths. The death count in Clinton County remained at 81.
