CM Cross Country recognizes seniors

WOODWARD TOWNSHIP, PA – The Central Mountain cross country program recognized its senior members as part of a four-team run at the Lock Haven University West Branch Fields on Tuesday. Other schools participating were Central Columbia, Milton and Warrior Run.

The CM girls team beat Central Columbia 17 – 40 and beat Warrior Run 23 – 36, but lost by one point to Milton, 29-28. The CM boys team beat Central Columbia 24 – 35, but lost to Milton (46 – 15). The boys also beat Warrior Run due to a forfeit.

Abbey Wolfe paced the Lady Wildcats and finished third overall with a time of 21.20. Ben Streator was first among the boys and sixth overall with a time of 19:30.6.

Next up for the runners is a tri-meet at Hollidaysburg on Thursday, DuBois the third participant. The Wildcat squads are also to compete at a Saturday 9 a.m. event at Bloomsburg University.
