COVID cases in state move back up
HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Tuesday reported 4,939 new COVID-19 cases statewide, nearly twice the number, 2,569, reported on Monday.
In Clinton County six new cases were reported on Tuesday, bringing the total to 4,160. The six cases is the lowest one-day report in the last eight days. Centre County saw an increase of 40 on Tuesday to 18,831, while Lycoming County increased by 49 to 13,781.
68 new deaths were reported by the state; the death count in Clinton County increased by one for the second day in a row to 71.
