COVID cases in state trend down over the last day
HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Monday reported 2,569 new COVID-19 cases statewide. That figure represents the first time in the last 13 days the number of new cases has dropped below 3,000. .
In Clinton County eight new cases were reported on Monday, bringing the total to 4,154. The eight cases is the lowest one-day report in the last week. Centre County saw an increase of 26 on Monday to 18,791, while Lycoming County increased by 31 to 13,732.
Two new deaths were reported by the state; the death count in Clinton County increased by one to 70 as of Sunday.
