One new COVID case in Clinton County


HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Tuesday reported 3,732 new COVID-19 cases across the state, the seventh day in a row that number has exceeded 3,000.

In Clinton County one new case were reported on Tuesday, bringing the total to 4,031. The one-day increase of one is the lowest since one new case was reported on Aug. 16. Centre County saw an increase of 34 to 18,444, while Lycoming County increased by 62 to 13,307.

There are 2,308 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19 statewide, up 69 from Monday. Of that number, 580 patients are in the intensive care unit with COVID-19, up 29 from Monday. 271 were on ventilators, down 16 from the previous day. .

83 new deaths were reported by the state; the death count in Clinton County remained at 69 through Monday.
