Clinton County government buildings reinstate masking for all visitors
LOCK HAVEN, PA – Citing an increase in COVID cases in the county and related factors, the Clinton County Commissioners announced Friday that all visitors to county buildings will be required to wear masks, regardless of vaccination status. The new policy will take effect on Monday.
The formal announcement:
Beginning Monday, September 13 at 8:00 AM, all Clinton County Government buildings will require all guests, regardless of vaccination status, to wear a mask inside buildings.
This policy change comes as a result of increased cases within the county, poor countywide vaccination rates, and the threat of COVID19 variants.
In addition to the required masking for all guests, the county will also continue to require non-vaccinated employees to wear a mask when moving about in buildings or meeting with the public. The updated policy will also re-instate social distancing for all public meetings and the option of attending virtually for those who do not feel comfortable attending in person.
