Wildcat baseball, softball games into Thursday

MILL HALL/LORETTO, PA – Weather was a factor in the two Central Mountain District 6 playoff games scheduled for Wednesday. The softball championship game versus Bellefonte in Loretto was stopped by rain with a 1-1 score heading into the fourth inning and will resume Thursday at 11 a.m. Central Mountain scored its run on a lead-off homerun from Alyssa Fisher.

The baseball team’s home semifinal contest with DuBois, scheduled for Wednesday, was postponed earlier in the afternoon and will be played at Mill Hall Community Park beginning at 12 noon on Thursday.

Both games will be aired on therecord-online.
