CM tennis edged by Seals, 3-2
SELINSGROVE, PA – The Central Mountain boys’ tennis team suffered a rare Heartland Conference loss on Monday, the Selinsgrove Seals sweeping the two doubles matches to pull out a 3-2 win.
The loss was the first for Coach Pete Wert’s team after a 4-0 start. The Wildcats won handily at numbers one and two, David Lindsay and Ethan Hall both with 6-0 two-set sweeps. But the Seals took the remainder of the matches to pull out the win. Selinsgrove moved to 3-1 with the victory.
Central Mountain will be right back at it on Tuesday, hosting Shikellamy at 4:30 p.m. at the Gibson Tennis Complex. The home stand will continue Thursday, Williamsport visiting.
