Wert’s ‘Cats slay Dragons

LEWISBURG, PA – The Central Mountain boys’ tennis team got its 2021 season off to a winning start at Lewisburg Wednesday, downing the host Green Dragons by a 3-2 score.

The Wildcats won at both one and two singles, from David Lindsey and Ethan Hall respectively, and at number one doubles from Jackson Walker and Leisher Gugino to secure the win.

Coach Pete Wert’s team is scheduled to return to its home Gibson Tennis Complex on Monday, March 22, hosting Jersey Shore.
