There will be a Keystone Little League in 2021

Lock Haven Little League President Eric Brungard will be accepting player sign-ups until 4 p.m. Sunday at the Moose Lodge on Hanna Street in Lock Haven.

LOCK HAVEN, PA – It’s a sign of spring approaching, preseason Little League sign-ups for the season. The Keystone Little League will be playing in 2021, after no games in 2020 due to COVID-19.

Lock Haven Little League President Eric Brungard said the presidents of the league’s/teams which make up Keystone met recently and decided to proceed with the season. The individual leagues are now holding player registrations for the new season. Brungard said a sign-up for the Lock Haven league is being conducted on Sunday, Feb. 7 until 4 p.m. and another sign-up will be announced for later this month.

Clinton softball and Babe Ruth baseball were held in Clinton County last season, but Keystone elected not to have a regular season, although there was travel ball.

One of Little League baseball’s earliest fields, Lock Haven’s Hoberman Field waits for warmer days and ballplayers.
