Bonita Jean (Bower) Xiarchos – Obituary
Bonita Jean (Bower) Xiarchos, born in 1937 as Bonita Jean Robb, passed away peacefully in Haven Place Senior Community on Friday November 27, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Lester and Margaret Robb of Lock Haven.
Bonnie lived in Central PA until 1972 and then spent most of her life living in Greece. She recently returned full time to live in Lock Haven with family until falling ill.
She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lock Haven State College in 1969 and graduated from Penn State University with a master’s degree in Economics. Bonnie was an avid gardening enthusiast, enjoyed reading, cooking, and practiced a homeopathic healthy lifestyle.
She is survived by her husband Stavros Xiarchos, children David Bower, Jeffery Bower, Stephanie Bower, Cynthia (John) Eckert, Lisa (Robert) Bartholomew, and Irene (John) Xiarchos (Costa) and siblings Sandra Fine, William (Judy) Robb, Diane Dorey, Mary Jo Robb, Cathy (Doane) Bower and Michelle (Harry) Dugan. She also had 13 wonderful grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
As per her wishes she was given a simple ceremony that was conducted by the Donald G Walker Funeral Home and will be interred at the Highland Cemetery in Lock Haven.
Her life will be celebrated at a later date with her immediate family.
