COVID-19 Update: Statewide Surge Continues; Clinton Up 20
HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health COVID Data Dashboard Sunday said as of 12:00 a.m., November 22, that there were 7,095 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 309,639. The number is the second highest one-day total thus far.
There were 41 new deaths reported on Sunday for a total of 9,842 deaths attributed to COVID-19.
Local counties’ numbers: Clinton County, up 20 to 528; Centre County, up 136 to 5,718; Lycoming up 63 to 1,723. Other area counties include Cameron, 19; Clearfield, 1,206; Potter, 147; and Union, 1,308.
There were 5,956 Clinton County residents with negative test results, an increase of 215 from Saturday. Combined with the 20 new positive cases, the total tested is 5,977, the most in one day.
