COVID-19 Update: Statewide Surge Continues; Clinton Up 16

HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health Thursday confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., November 19, that there were 7,125 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 288,978. The number represents a new one-day high.

There were 116 new deaths reported on Thursday for a total of 9,581 deaths attributed to COVID-19. The number of deceased also represents a new one-day high.

Local counties’ numbers: Clinton County, up 16 to 468; Centre County, up 82 to 5,411; Lycoming up 70 to 1,533. Other area counties include Cameron, 17; Clearfield, 1,015; Potter, 123; and Union, 1,084.

There were 5,649 Clinton County residents with negative test results, an increase of 13 from Wednesday.
