Chapman Township Supervisor Tim Horner Passes Away

CHAPMAN TOWNSHIP, PA – Longtime Chapman Township Supervisor Tim Horner passed away Saturday at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville following a brief illness.

Horner, a York County native, came to Chapman Township in 1992. He immediately became involved in multiple community service activities. In addition to serving as township board chairman, he most recently was chairman of the Clinton County Revolving Loan Fund board. He was a member of the Renovo Community Trade Association, a past president of the Clinton County Association of Township Supervisors and the State Association of Township Supervisors.

Horner had won his most recent term as a township supervisor in 2019. At the time, in his candidacy announcement, he said, “’I believe in good local government and have volunteered many hours in our community working to bring new jobs to the area finding grants and funding to upgrade our fire company, recreational facilities, roads and bridges.” He recently served as a crossing guard in Farwell as a detour was in place while repairs were carried out to the township’s Bucktail Bridge.

Funeral arrangements were not immediately available.
