Susque-View Home Reports Second COVID Case

LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Susque-View Home on Wednesday reported a second staff member has tested positive for COVID-19. An initial case had been reported on Oct. 22 and none since that time.

The Wednesday release said the results for all other residents and staff members tested last week came back negative. In the meantime, while new testing has begun, Susque-View is unable to allow face-to-face or window visits with its residents.

Lock Haven, Pennsylvania:

On November 11, 2020, Susque-View Home’s Administration was notified that another staff member had tested positive for COVID-19. The test results were from the testing of all residents and staff from last week. Thankfully all other staff and all residents test results were negative.

As reported previously, the Department of Health and CDC guidelines recommend two weekly negative tests of all residents and staff before Susque-View is able to begin the reopening process. Specimen collection for this week’s testing has begun. Unfortunately we will not be able to allow face to face or window visits until we get through the testing requirements. Visits via Skype are still available. .
