COVID-19 Update: State Surge Continues; Clinton, Up Seven; Centre , Up 74; Lycoming, Up 35
HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health Monday confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., Nov. 9, that there were 6,311 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 234,296. The additional positive cases cover a two-day period as there was no update on Sunday. There are 9,024 total deaths attributed to COVID-19, an increase of nine new deaths reported.
Local counties’ numbers: Clinton County, up seven to 331; Centre County, up 74 to 4,679; Lycoming up 35 to 1,117. Other area counties include Cameron, 14; Clearfield, 614; Potter, 77; and Union, 845.
There were 5,358 Clinton County residents with negative test results, an increase of 54 from Saturday.
