STEM Month at Ross Library

The Ross Library Youth Services is having STEM Month and is sponsoring STEM challenges on Zoom this month.

STEM kits were created at the library with task cards, and are accompanied a related book. There are also magnet kits, which include task cards to complete with a magnet. They placed a few paperclips and other items to get them started.

You can check out the kits with your library cards, and have three weeks to work with the kits.
The library also has camera sets for older school age patrons. They provide a camera and task cards which can be used as suggestions on what to take pictures of in the three weeks.

Online STEM happens on Thursday night on Zoom.  Patrons can visit their Facebook page and get the challenge and Zoom invite.  They meet to showcase their challenges and Holly Eisaman, Assistant Librarian does an experiment.
