Myra J. Fye, 92, of 10 Yost Road, Mill Hall, passed away Monday, September 1, 2014 at Lock Haven Hospital.

She was born on December 11, 1921 in Pine Station, the daughter of the late Harry O. and Carrie V. Troutman Gardner.

Myra was a 1938 graduate of Lock Haven High School.

In January of 1939, she married Charles E. Fye, who preceded her in death on April 21, 2010.

Myra was a very active member of Living Faith Free Methodist Church, Mill Hall.

Myra was a beloved mother, wife, grammy, sister and friend. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, crafts, gardening and the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

She was grateful for the companionship she found with her friends and caretakers at Eagle Ridge Personal Care Home and would like to extend a special thanks to Krista Thompson and her entire staff.

She is survived by a son, Alan D. (Judy) Fye of Beech Creek; two daughters, Diana D. (Joseph) Blaschak of Ellicott City, MD and Kimberly D. (Samuel) Mayes of Seville, OH; a daughter-in-law, Donna Fye; ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Rev. Charles H. Fye.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington with Rev. Brian Billings officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Lock Haven.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Living Faith Free Methodist Church, 7175 Nittany Valley Drive, Mill Hall, Pa 17751.
