Lock Haven’s Ross Library Book Sale Up and Running

LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Annie Halenbake Ross Library annual book began its four-day run Wednesday, with new COVID-19 safety precautions in place. The virus strictures did not deter a large turnout on the sale’s first day, where social distancing was very much in evidence.

The event features everything from DVDs and puzzles to books of all genres. Hours are Wednesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. – 7p.m., Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday is $5 bag/box day.

Masks and social distancing are required on the outdoor patio where the sale takes place, and checkout will happen on the patio, not in the lobby as it has in prior years. The library would like to thank the community with its generosity, in supplying books for the sale, working the sale, and the purchasing of books.

All proceeds benefit the library, which had two other fundraisers curtailed due to the virus this year. Annie Halenbake Ross Library is a United Way partner agency and a PA Forward Gold Star Library.
