Lady ‘Cat Tennis Still Undefeated with 6-0 Win at Shik

SUNBURY – Another day, another clean-sweep win for the Lady Wildcat tennis team as they picked up a 5-0 road win over Shikellamy.

Central Mountain’s Carolina Carpenetti dispatched Melanie Minnier, 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1 singles while Olivia Anastos took down Shik’s Olivia Weaver in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 Singles. Then at No. 3 singles, CM’s Kati Kwiatek kept up the pressure by defeating the Brave’s Megan Strohecker, 6-0, 6-1.

In No. 1 doubles it was the Lady Wildcat duo of Ella Talbot and Caitlyn Dale defeated Kelly Sprenkel and Anne Norris of Shikellamy, 6-2, 6-2 followed by Central Mountain’s Claire Long and Zeta Blesh prevailing over Lily Weist and Allie Minnier, 6-1, 7-5 to put a cap on the perfect outing.

The takes Central Mountain to 6-0 on the 2020 season. Next up for the Lady ‘Cats is a home match when they host Loyalsock, Saturday, September 12, 2020.
