HS Football First Look

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP — The Central Mountain football team had its first scrimmage last Saturday, hosting Bellefonte. First-year head coach Mike Nines has been working with a senior high squad of 53 players in preparation for the 2014 regular season opener at Williamsport next Friday. Meanwhile the Wildcats have a final tune-up, a 6 p.m. scrimmage at home this Friday with Selinsgrove.

FARWELL — Bucktail head coach Bruce Ransom was all about coaching last Saturday as Bucktail had its scrimmage at home with Sayre. The Bucks have another home work-out this Saturday at 10 a.m., the opponent South Williamsport. The Bucks will open the regular season next Friday at Montgomery.
