Lock Haven Youth Earns Eagle Scout Recognition
WOOLRICH – Ashton Peters, 15, from Lock Haven, held his Eagle Scout Court of Honor on Saturday, Aug. 1.
He said it was a long road coming but he was pleased he finally got to have his special day. It was also a unique Eagle Scout Court of Honor, given the COVID-19 pandemic.
A representative from state Rep. Stephanie Borowicz’s office also spoke and presented Ashton a citation. He is part of Woolrich Troop 66. Ashton did a Suicide Awareness Walk in memory of his best friend as his Eagle Scout Project. Ashton said in his Eagle Scout speech Saturday that he hopes to always be known as a role model to his fellow scouts.
