John D. Croak – Obituary

ObitArtJohn D. Croak, 78, of Lock Haven passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014.

He was born in Renovo in 1935 and raised in Lock Haven.

John was a resident of Fulmer’s Personal Care Home since October 2011, and previously a resident of Woodward Meadows.

John worked most of his life as a farm hand on Sorgens’ Farms.

He loved the outdoors, watching old time television, and drinking coffee while visiting with relatives.

Surviving is one sister, Velma (Richard) Winner of Lock Haven; one brother, Doyle (Nancy) Croak of Coco, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert and Wilbur Croak and two sisters: Florence Bridgens and Eleanor Zener.

A Memorial Service will be held at Fulmer’s Personal Care Home, 201 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven, on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Donald Grant officiating. Private burial will be at Swissdale Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Memorial Contributions in John’s name may be made to Fulmer’s Personal Care Home.
