Kerith Visits Fair

MACKEYVILLE — The county fair circuit is a summertime must for politicians and aspiring politicians. The recent Clinton County Fair was no exception. Incumbent 5th district Congressman Glenn Thompson (Republican–Centre County) put in a visit early last week and his November general election opponent, Democrat Kerith Strano Taylor, did likewise later in the week. Strano Taylor achieved what is believed to be a fairgrounds’ first, arriving by motorcycle from her Brookville home. She checked in with county Democratic chairman Joe Waltz upon arrival.
