Mid-State COVID-19 Cases: Clinton Moves to 43, Centre to 128; Lyco Holds at 139
HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Department of Health, in its Thursday update, confirmed as of 12 p.m., May 14, that there are an additional 938 positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 59,636. The department also reported a new death total of 4,218, an increase of 275 from Wednesday.
Clinton County cases moved up two to 43 and Centre County increased two to 128; Lycoming stayed at 139. Other counties adjoining Clinton: Clearfield, 33; Cameron, 2; Potter, 4; and Union, at 43.
There are 251,559 people who have tested negative statewide to date. That number is 383 in Clinton County. The Clinton County test numbers are about equal to one percent of the county population.
