Mid-State COVID-19 Cases: Clinton Stays at 41, Centre to 122; Lyco Stays at 132
HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Department of Health, in its Tuesday update, confirmed as of 12 p.m., May 12, that there are an additional 837 positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 57,991. The department also reported a new death total of 3,806, an increase of 75 from Monday.
Clinton County cases remained at 41 and Centre County increased three to 122; Lycoming stayed at 132. Other counties adjoining Clinton: Clearfield, 30; Cameron, 2; Potter, 4; and Union, at 41.
There are 237,989 people who have tested negative statewide to date. That number is 360 in Clinton County. The Clinton County test numbers are still less than one percent of the county population.
