Clinton COVID-19 Cases up One to 11; Centre County Holds at 73; Lyco up Four to 36
HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Department of Health, in its Saturday update, confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., April 18, that there are 1,628 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 31,069. The department also reported 80 new deaths among positive cases, bringing the statewide total to 836. All people are either in isolation at home or being treated at the hospital, the state health department said.
Clinton County cases moved from 10 to 11; Lycoming moved up four to 36; and Centre County stayed at 73. Other counties adjoining Clinton: Clearfield, 9; Cameron, 1; Potter, 4; and Union, 27 (up two from Friday).
The state Health Department daily reports now list the number of residents tested by county. Clinton County, with a population of 38,632, has had 107 of its residents tested.
There are 122,896 patients who have tested negative statewide to date.
