Clinton COVID-19 Cases Hold at Three; Centre County Goes to 57; State Deaths Jump Again

HARRISBURG – Wednesday coronavirus numbers from the state Health Department show that Clinton County continues to have three confirmed COVID-19 cases. The numbers remained fairly constant in north-central Pennsylvania. Centre County saw an increase of two, from 55 on Tuesday, to 57 on Wednesday, Lycoming County up three to 15.

Other counties adjacent to Clinton are: Potter, 3; Clearfield, 7; Cameron, 1; and Union 7. All those numbers are unchanged from Tuesday.

Statewide, the number of cases increased by 1,680 to 16,239. Deaths attributed to the virus moved from 240 to 310, an increase of 70, compared to an increase in deaths of 78 the previous day. Statewide negative tests amount to 82,299 in a state with a population of 12.8 million.
