State Coronavirus Numbers Worsen Again; Clinton County List Remains at One Case
HARRISBURG – Coronavirus numbers from the state Health Department took another jump on Sunday. New figures show the number of deaths from COVID-19 increased by 14, from 136 to 150.
Clinton County, with its first confirmed case on Friday, saw its Sunday number remain at one.
Sunday figures from the state Health Department show that the number of reported cases in the state jumped by 1,493 from Saturday (a slight decrease from the previous day’s jump), for a statewide total of 11,510. The state said 66,261 tests statewide came back negative. Pennsylvania has a population of some 12.8 million.
Updated county totals from the mid-state: Clinton, 1; Lycoming, 9 (an unexplained drop of one from Saturday); Centre, 43 (an increase of four from Saturday); Potter, 3; Clearfield, 7; Cameron, 1; and Union, 5.
