Water Project On Schedule

SOUTH RENOVO – South Renovo’s water line replacement project is right on schedule. Workers of Smith Excavating and Construction LLC are shown here connecting service lines to the newly installed 6” PVC water main on Pine Street. The CDBG funded project is 80% complete. Remaining to be done yet is the reconnection of five service lines, final tie-in of the new 6” main and replacement of an 8” main line valve. All work is expected to be completed by mid-August. During some phases of the work, some South Renovo Borough water customers may experience low or no-pressure for brief periods and some service sections have and will be placed on a boil advisory for a few days with advance written notice.
