Transition Time at CMHS

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP — This is transition week at Central Mountain High School. Longtime principal Karen Probst, center, was packing her belongings and looking forward to retirement while new assistant principal/athletic director Che Regina, left, was moving into his new office. Meanwhile Steve Turchetta, right, formerly athletic director and assistant principal, was moving down the hall to assume his new post as principal. Regina is an Easton native, a 1995 graduate of Wellsboro High School who holds a dual major undergraduate degree in mathematics and physics from Mansfield University, a Master’s degree in Education from California University of Pennsylvania, and a Masters in Business Administration from Penn State. Most recently assistant principal and athletic director at Troy High School, Regina lives in Wellsboro with his wife Gretchen and their two daughters, Regan, 10, and Reese, 5.
