Lady Wildcat Volleyball Falls to DuBois, 3-0

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – The Central Mountain volleyball squad came up short against visiting DuBois, Saturday morning, falling to the lady Beavers, 3-0.

The Lady ‘Cats were pithing striking dia=stance but had difficulty finishing late to change the outcome.

“The girls played hard and flowed well, but couldn’t close when the games got tight at the end,” said CM head coach, Scott Garman, “DuBois’ ball control and defense were better than ours and that was the difference.”

“We’re not far off,” Garman added, just need to play with confidence and a sense of deservedness when playing against quality teams/programs.”

Loni Duck led the Lady Wildcats with 8 kills while McKenzi Hanna had 6 kills. Evie Rembold, Felicia Baney and Kyleigh McDermit had 4 kills each.

Central Mountain will next host Bellefonte 0n Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019.
