McClintick Recognized as Democrat of the Year

DUNNSTOWN – A longstanding party member was recognized as the Clinton County Democrat of the Year at the party’s annual dinner Thursday night at the Dunnstown Fire Hall.

Elsie McClintick of Salona was overwhelmed when the announcement was made. McClintick, 92, has been a party member for 71 years. She has a long history of community involvement, including a stint on the Keystone Central School Board. She told party members to “keep working,” adding, “If we don’t work, where will we be?”
