LOCK HAVEN — Clinton County has lost a couple of its historic county seat structures this year, one to fire, one to demolition. But one prominent building from the county’s past is undergoing a summer-time touch-up: the former Hotel Riverside at Jay and Water Streets, now known as Lindsey Place. The Late Greek Revival Style building was constructed in 1863 and has served over the years as a hotel and apartment house, even a stint in 1888 as the Central State Normal School. Owned by Ron and Abbie Pete, the building most recently has apartments on the upper floors and rental suites on the first floor. Record photo – Jeannine Lipez
