Kessinger Announces for Commissioner
MILL HALL – Former Clinton County Commissioner Miles Kessinger has announced he has joined the field for election to the county post. His candidacy announcement:
“Miles Kessinger is announcing he is seeking the Republican nomination for Clinton County Commissioner in the May 21, 2019 primary election.
“Kessinger is a lifelong resident of Clinton County and resides in Mill Hall with his wife of 45 years, Marly, a teacher in the Keystone Central School District, retiring after 28 years. They are the parents of three children, Staci a teacher at the Sanford School in Delaware, Jaime a teacher in Keystone Central School District, A.J. an engineer for the City of Houston, Texas and have two grandchildren Alex and Abby.
“Miles believes his 32 years of public service, 24 years in county government (6 years as County Commissioner and 18 years as Court Administrator) and 8 years as Keystone Central School Director, will allow him to successfully serve the residents of Clinton County. Because of his experience he will not require on the job training upon taking office.
“Miles is a graduate of the former Bald Eagle-Nittany High School and Lock Haven University, is a former public school teacher and has run his own business. He is currently a member of the Suburban Water Authority Board of Directors, a member of the zoning hearing board for Mill Hall Borough, has served as a Trustee for Lock Haven Elks Lodge # 182, a member of the United Way of Clinton County, a member of the Clinton County Foundation and President of Mill Hall Kiwanis.
