LOCK HAVEN – On Tuesday June 24, 2014 … the 175th day of the year … Clinton County celebrated the milestone of the 175th anniversary of the county.

County Commissioners, row officers, county employees, local municipal officials, business people and county residents gathered at the court house for a brief ceremony to commemorate the day.

A tree has been planted at the court house and a capsule congaing the “clue” to the whereabouts of the official time capsule to opened in 2039, the 200th anniversary of Clinton County.
