Bucktail Rolls to 63-33 Win on the Road at Montgomery
MONTGOMERY – After an 0-4 start, Bucktail was eager to pick up a win, and that they did by outpacing the Red Raiders, 63-33.
Fueled by a 36-13 halftime lead then continuing that effort to extend their lead to 53-17 by the end of the third quarter. Montgomery did manage to respond in the fourth period with a 16-10 effort against the Bucktail reserves, though it was too little, too late.
Holding the Red Raiders to singleton’s digit efforts for three periods is a big indication of the Buck defense along with committing only 4 personal fouls in the entire game.
Four Bucktail players hit double digits offensively tonight, led by Gabriel Conway with 13, Gavin Becker with 12 with Richard Perry and Alex Intallura each scored 10 points. Devin Serafini scored 8, Anthony Pentz dropped in 6 points. Zachary Pick and Darrin Bruno each scored 2 points for the Bucks.
The win takes Bucktail to 1-4 on the season, 1-1 in the PHAC.
The Bucks will be back I action on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018 when they will host Meadowbrook Christian School of Milton.
