Bellefonte Edges Lady Wildcat Volleyball, 3-2

BELLEFONTE – Central Mountain and the Lady Red Raiders battled through to a tie-breaking fifth game with Bellefonte edging their guests 3-2.

Central Mountain outlasted the Lady raiders in the first game 25-19 and improved upon that effort in the second game winning, 25-14.

Then Bellefonte turned the table on the Lady ‘Cats in game 3 picking up a 25-16 win and nearly duplicated that effort with a 25-17 win in game 4.

A tight battle ensued in game 5 with Bellefonte securing a 15-13 victory and the 3-2 win.

Loni Duck led the CM offense with 12 kills and 4 aces. Taylor Kinney had 4 aces and Abby Brinker, 3. Evie Rembold and McKenzi Hanna each had 7 kills to their credit. Brinker had 19 assists, Kinley had 15 assists.

Defensively for the Lady Wildcats Jenni Skow picked up 31 digs on the night while Madison Knepp had 19 digs. Skylar Falls recorded 13 digs.
